Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber

Gun Scrubber-type aerosols flush dirt and old lubricant out of actions, triggers and bores quickly and evaporate fast. Birchwood Casey is an American maker of gun-care, finishing and target products.

• Type: aerosol cleaner/degreaser

Use in a well-ventilated area; check compatibility with synthetic stocks and finishes before spraying.

Clean from the breech end where possible, use a bore guide to protect the chamber and crown, and replace brushes once they are worn.

Check the calibre and thread before buying.

Regular cleaning removes fouling and moisture that cause rust and loss of accuracy. Make sure the firearm is unloaded before cleaning, work in a well-ventilated area, and store cleaned firearms in a dry safe with a light protective coat of oil.
