Function-test your magazines after fitting an extension.
Check that the magazine matches your exact firearm model and calibre before buying. Keep magazines clean and test new magazines at the range before relying on them.
Never force rounds into a magazine beyond its rated capacity.
Always make sure your firearm is unloaded before fitting parts or accessories, and test function carefully at the range afterwards. If in doubt, have a competent gunsmith do the work.
