Keep your knife clean, dry and sharp.
Keep blades clean and dry, oil the pivot on folding knives and sharpen before the edge becomes very dull. Always cut away from yourself.
Carry and use knives responsibly and in line with the law.
A sharp knife is a safe knife, because it needs less force and is less likely to slip. Clean and dry blades after use, especially after field dressing, and store knives safely away from children.
